Another heavenly sign that gives me comfort to know it was Gods time. This October 15th, 2026 our brother would have turned 44.
Our family celebrated this milestone by inviting fiends and family for dinner. At the end of the night, and only because (we ran out of food), I sat down and did a head count... Lemme see, a 22lb Brisket... let's see how many people actually came... after counting twice... and counting once more... I realized we had a total of 44 guest that night. 44 people that knew my brother...
44 guests for my brother's 44th birthday... 4-4 Thank you for the blessings little brother!!!!!
I want to believe this is a sign that you are alright and just like you would calculate your chess moves... you are finding ways to reveal yourself to us earthlings. Again... Coincidence... or not? I don't believe in coincidences, I do believe in God. Thank you brother for bringing me close to the lord and for continuing to shine your light over us. I love you to the moon and far beyond.

Six months, fifteen days, and fifteen hours since you've been gone and I still catch myself wanting to call and ask you for tech advise.

Feel free to leave flowers or objects here.
Please be mindful of riders around the area, there have been many casualties due to distracted drivers.
I suggest taking sneakers or hiking shoes if you plan on walk anywhere on the trail due to uneven terrain.
Please be aware, bikers come downhill from the right, therefore, stay off the trail to avoid any run-ins.

This is the place of the accident and where a silent memorial will be installed. This is a place where we go, a little more secluded than the public memorial. A good place to send Edgard your love, think and meditate.
You can walk the trail from this point to the next, it is downhill from here. The walk uphill is a little rough but doable with the right shoes (and hydration).
If walking down/uphill, please beware of the speeding bikers, I have already heard of hikers causing incidents and run-ins with bikers. These trails are mainly used by speeding riders.
Again, bikers ride by here, please stay off the trail. Bikers come down at a surprisingly fast speed and not all of them anouce themselves.

Lord thank you for the signs, Bro thank you for the visits in my dreams. It has been a bitter few months and knowing you are active in my mind and memories is all that I need right now.

Our birthdays are coming up and it is in these moments that the heart ache intensifies that much more. My love, I love and miss you so much that I would give the world and my life to see you again.

Mr Always goofy when you least expected it
On April 2, 2026
Edgard came down to tell us all about his trip to Zacatecas.
He sat down in the grey recliner that we have in the living room and took off his plaid shirt. I teased him about going bare arms... "Wow, you exposing a bit of skin today..." to which he responded with a witty laugh and started hugging his white arms as to conceal them (he always covering them arms with long sleeve shirts).
He talked about everything from going to the fields with our cousin Javi, to partying at the fair and even going to church where he saw "Edgar" the boy from el rebote who he was so proud of.
He did not stay for dinner but wanted to say goodbye to the kids, I gave him a hug and went to call the kids (who as teenagers, usually hide in their room). This day he said his goodbyes, kids came out to give him a hug and Tere pointed out the Monster he left on the floor. "ooh, can't forget that".
I gave him a second hug that day as he left and we laughed about getting two hugs that day...
"Hey, another hug for the road". Not knowing that would be the last hug we would give eachother.
Oh boy, I miss that guy so much.

Knee to the ground, the Knee has touched the ground
We remember hearing the excitement in Edgards voice when sharing about going to the race track.
"Look at my knees!!!!", looking down with panic in our body but seeing the smile in his face made that feeling quickly fade away.
Audacity
Four months since you've been gone my love, I can only say I wish to one day live life with that Intense Audacity that everyone spoke of when they spoke of you. You were by far the daring audacious man that we admired. Every minute was lived with a purpose and you did not waste any time living.
I love you my baby brother and miss you every single day. Four months and it feels like I just saw and spoke with you yesterday...

3 Months since you've been gone
There's no day nor hour that we don't miss you brother.
Some days are worst than others, however, days like today, when we visit the Fullerton Loop, the pain feels a little deeper.
Thank you for every second of our conversations, I love, LOVE you!

Edgard was not very religious, he believed in doing good, treating everyone with respect, he was generous, and stayed away from gossip and other peoples business.
Despite this, he carried this prayer to fulfill mothers request.

Since his passing, myself and some of our families relationship with God has strengthened significantly.
I love you my baby brother, thank you for continuing to teach me so much about life and God.
